Quality Time

With Drew's new job, vacation time was not very feasible during the first year. Luckily, we were able to squeeze in a whirlwind trip to Seattle for Olivia's high school graduation (I will post about that someday). In his previous job, we had the luxury of 6 WEEKS paid vacation every year - not that he always got to take advantage of that much time off.
Needless to say, after the first year mark with AIL, I was quite excited at the prospect of a full week of Drew's undivided attention - and I actually stretched it into 8 days... at Walt Disney World!

We had an incredible experience, and since we were there for my brother's wedding as well, we managed to spend quality time with lots of family (and even just the two of us a few times).

There will be several posts to come with more details about the trip.

Josh almost never looked at the camera for any of the photos. Our vacation package included MemoryMaker, so we got almost 200 photos taken by the Disney PhotoPass cast members, and on the rides. If you're going to be at the parks for 3 or more days, I definitely recommend it. One thing you might not be aware of, you can always ask the Disney photographers to take photos of your party with your camera, they will do it for free!

The only thing missing... Olivia!

We were constantly commenting about things she would have loved or that we would have loved for her. Before we left, we were already talking about going back next year and hoping that she would be able to join us. What is it about that magical place, no matter how exhausted you feel after
 - you can never quite get enough!
